become extremely classy, varied and unique. There are several ways in which
people choose their dresses and more often than not women have a collection of

classification would be to define the use of these dresses according to
occasions. These include cocktail dresses, evening dresses, lounge and party
wear, casual dresses, summer dresses and so on. This is however a very broad
classification and these dresses can be further classified.
One of the major ways of classification can be to
differentiate on the basis of the materials and embellishments used in the
making of the little black dress and they may include fabrics such as chiffon,
satin, lace, charmeuse, tulle, organza, silk, cotton and taffeta and
accessories such as bows, belts, clips, ribbons and any other embellishments.
As such, people can choose from the fabrics and the accessories that are in
line with their tastes and needs. Another major way of differentiation includes
segregation by the cut of the dress which includes options such as A-Line,
Sheath, Ball gown, empire, vintage, chic, modern and so on. Another major way
of differentiation is by the desired length of the little black dress and this
